About Remove Background
Remove Background uses the Remove.bg API (when configured with a valid key on the server) to isolate a subject from its backdrop—perfect for e-commerce product shots on white, LinkedIn headshots without busy offices, and sticker-style graphics for presentations. Designers iterate marketing crops; sellers meet Amazon-style main-image guidelines; app developers generate transparent PNG assets without hours of manual masking.
Results depend on lighting, hair detail, and similar colors between subject and background—fine strands and glass reflections remain hard for any automated model. Always zoom in on edges before publishing; a faint halo may need touch-up in a desktop editor afterward. API quotas and billing belong to whoever operates the integration; failures may mean missing keys or exceeded limits.
Export PNG when transparency matters; flattened JPEGs reintroduce a background color. Combine with Image Resizer for platform-specific dimensions and Image Compressor for faster storefront loading.
You must have rights to the photos you process—no scraping strangers’ portraits for experiments. Sensitive ID photos and biometric-heavy images should not be sent to third-party APIs unless policy allows. For confidential product prototypes, use offline masking tools approved by your security team.

How to use
